Atlanta Department still accepting applications for the Millennial Leaders Citizens Police Academy

The City of Atlanta Police Department is looking for leaders between the ages for 18-25!

The Millennial Leaders Police Citizens Academy encourages participants to provide invaluable feedback to enhance police and community relations. For more information, contact Sergeant F. Claxton at cpa@atlantaga.gov. The class will be held December 19-20 at the Public Safety Headquarters.

Classes will be offered on the following subject matter:

· Law Enforcement Interactions specific to young adults
· Law Enforcement and Social Media
· Sex Trafficking
· Use of Force
· Active Shooter
· Criminal Procedure
· After the Party (Alcohol Impaired Judgment)
