      What I Know For Sure!

Here's what I learned and know for sure after attending the Act Like A Success Conference:
      1. It's important to identify your gift. Your gift is what you do the best with the least amount of effort.
      2. Mistakes happen. Learn from them and keep moving forward.
      3. Don't give up on your dreams.
      4. Don't be lazy. Keep going.
      5. Surround yourself with people who have your back.

I partnered with Purpose Driven Media and am a member of the Act Like a Success Blogger Team. They provided me with compensation for this event coverage. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

      Check Out Adventure Aprons!

I'm so thrilled to wear locally-owned Clyde & Christopher’s Adventure Aprons! These meticulously handcrafted, socially responsible carry-alls are loaded with pockets to hold every essential from cell phones to lip balm.
I chose the Lucy carry-all which is a perfect accessory for baseball games, long walks on the Atlanta Beltline, kid playground playdates, while leaving my hands totally free. So many folks have asked me about my super cute carry-all!

This sassy black and white floral pattern brings a smile to everyone. The candy apple red vinyl and microsuede fringe trim draws out the inner wild child. With pockets aplenty for every gal’s favorite shade of red lipstick, the “Lucy” is perfect for date night as well as girls night out.
Clyde & Christopher’s Adventure Aprons are made from local manufacturing and high quality handmade details.  What I love about this local company is that they work with a trio of refugee women through a Clarkston, GA non-profit, to turn a profit while offering a helping hand to other women in the community.

Pirate Adventure Island sails into LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta

Ahoy, Atlanta! LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta debuted a wonderful new attraction earlier this month, featuring a giant pirate ship, an aquatic building area and a bounty more of fun! Titled Pirate Adventure Island, the new exhibit anchored ashore at Phipps Plaza on March 19.

I took my boys to LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta's new Pirate Adventure Island exhibit on opening night. My crew had a wonderful time playing on the nautical ship and splashing their hands in the anchored ashore exhibit. The new component is both educational and provides hands-on sensory activities. With endless interactive, my sons didn't want to leave.

Pirate Adventure Island joins LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta’s fleet of other playful offerings, such as Kingdom Quest Laser Ride, Merlin’s Apprentice Ride, MINILAND®, the LEGO® Master Builder Academy, LEGO Friends Olivia’s House and more! Also brand new this year, “The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure” will play in the 4D cinema for a limited time.
