The founders of the popular Atlanta’s Chef Expo and Atlanta Street Food Festival are excited to announce tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Dynamic Kids Expo taking place on Saturday, October 13, at the Gwinnett Convention Center from noon to 6 p.m. Primed to become the premier children’s expo, showcasing the region’s most popular talent and vendors, the Dynamic Kids Expo will delight and entertain children and adults alike throughout the all-day festivities. Proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in support of its patients.
We’re thrilled to showcase Atlanta’s inspiring kids and finest children-focused vendors with the Dynamic Kids Expo,” Dynamic Kids Expo founders Alisha Nesbitt, Cheryl Hasting and Latasha Bennett said. “We understand families are looking for entertaining and exciting ways to spend time together and find a way to squeeze it in on their busy schedules. Our goal with the Dynamic Kids Expo is to provide quality entertainment and a unique shopping experience so that they can make the most of this fun-filled afternoon.”
As an event catered towards kids, the Dynamic Kids Expo will highlight some of the city’s “Dynamic Kids,” including Kayla Saslow, Kirstyn Burkhalter, Maya Shea Penn and DJ Priest. Saslow is an aspiring culinarian who has already made major accomplishments as a high schooler, including her first place prize at the Great American Baking Contest at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts for her caramel apple tart with walnut crumble. Another high schooler, Burkhalter entertains the city as an up-and-coming singer who has performed at a variety of events, including Georgia Stars of Tomorrow. At the young age of 12, Penn already has a strong and promising career as a clothing and jewelry designer plus her talent as a young animator. Penn’s artfully crafted clothing and designer jewelry are sold on her Etsy page and have received acclaim on Forbes and Huffington Post. As the final featured “Dynamic Kid,” 12-year old DJ Priest will provide the musical entertainment for the guests, spinning the latest hot tracks. In addition to his turntable talent, DJ Priest recently published his first book and has plans to pen a series.
General admission tickets are $15 per person and are offered in reduced pricing with each additional ticket purchase, including two tickets for $25, three tickets for $35 and four tickets for $45. Children two years old and younger are free.
