According
to the Walmart survey of African American parents, at the top of their
agenda is making sure that there’s room in the budget for their kids’
gifts. Some other survey findings include:
Kids
are the priority this season with the majority of parents noting that
buying gifts for their kids is more important vs. buying gifts for
adults.
Nagging
definitely works! Parents surveyed revealed that nagging is the most
persuasive technique for kids to get whatever toy they want for
Christmas.
Close to half of parents wait to open gifts on Christmas Day, meaning the rest give their kids a sneak on Christmas Eve.
