This summer, 22 Atlanta-area Stevi B’s resturants will be donating a portion of their proceeds from June 27-July 1 to the Kids In Need Foundation (KIN) to purchase new school supplies for underprivileged children in Atlanta. The purchasing of supplies will go through the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
In the fall of 2000, the Atlanta Community Food Bank developed the Kids In Need program, a year-round free store for educators. The Kids In Need mission is to provide learning supplies for students whose academic success is threatened by poverty. Each year, Kids In Need distributes hundreds of thousands of brand new school supplies to more than 2,000 teachers in low-income schools across Atlanta. There is absolutely no cost to students or teachers.
During this five-day promotion, a portion of each participating restaurant’s daily sales will be donated to help KIN continue to supply underprivileged children with brand new school supplies to support their academic success! You can also participate by bringing donations of new/unused school supplies to the restaurant and dropping them in the collection bins. Suggested donations include: pencils, spiral notebooks, erasers, paints, crayons, rulers, etc.Visit Kids In Need for more information on how this program impacts kids in your community.
To celebrate this new campaign, Stevi B’s is putting up 22 billboards around Atlanta highlighting children who love "weird pizza."
Help us raise money for the Kids In Need program and have fun doing it by eating tasty "weird pizza!"
