Buying a full-size pickup? Here are some hard facts to think about:

lbs.) than any of its competitors.*
The F-150 has a fully boxed frame
that’s the foundation of all this great capability. And it’s engineered
and tested to withstand more punishment than you could ever subject it
The F-150 is Built Ford Tough® to come through with the capability
you expect in this full-size pickup from Ford, day in and day out.
Thanks to Malcolm Cunningham Ford Lincoln, I was about to test-drive this F-150 around town! Located in Atlanta, GA, Malcolm Cunningham Ford is proud to be one of

I'm still 'over the moon' excited that I had the opportunity to partner with Ford to test drive the new 2013 Ford Escape! This SUV is not only fantastic, but features really awesome technology that made me feel safe traveling around the city with our two boys, Roland and Joshua.
As a busy mom on the go, having a spacious and safe car is a true dream! When searching for a new car, safety should always be the top priority.
Last month, was Driver Distraction Month which isdriving while engaged in other activities such as, using a cell phone, texting, eating, or reading. Thousands of people die each year because people continue to use their cell phones while driving. The technology in the Ford helps you keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Although, I didn't have a chance to pick you up for a ride in the 2013 Ford Escape, I wanted to share these great safety features:
Do Not Disturb feature: When hooked up to SYNC, this new feature blocks incoming phone calls or text messages from a Bluetooth®-paired mobile phone, diverting calls into voicemail and saving text messages on the device for viewing later. But unlike turning the phone off, drivers can still make voice-activated outgoing phone calls and the SYNC 911 Assist™ feature can make a call in case of emergency.
SYNC with MyFord Touch offers multiple ways for customers to manager and control information through voice commands, menus accessed through controls on the steering wheel and touch screens. Upgraded system includes new look, making phone, navigation, entertainment and climate controls even easier to use
Seeing the 2013 Ford Escape for the first time!
Ford Do Not Disturb on MyKey
With Active Park Assist, parallel parking is virtually stress-free and hands free
BLIS (Blind Spot information System) with Cross Traffic Alert – displays an alert in the side mirror when a vehicle is detected entering a blind spot. Cross-traffic alert warns if traffic is detected approaching from the sides, such as when Escape is leaving a parking space in reverse
Curve Control – the first Ford SUV to automatically slow the vehicle when it is cornering too fast.
Doesn't that sound awesome to you? Plus the Escape has the hands free liftgate which makes transporting sporting gear and packages a breeze for moms-on-the-go. Our oldest son saw the trunk pop open on it's own and screamed, "magic."
Test drive a 2013 Ford Escape! There are several great dealerships in the area!
Knock, Knock! Who's there? BISSELL! I was so thrilled last week when the great folks from BISSELL dropped off the BIG Green machine at my front door. Little did I know how awesome it would be getting rid of my carpet stains. Here's a video that compares the cleaner with another popular product out there: http://youtu.be/sRtz2NuoUpk
Why call carpet cleaners when you can rent a BISSELL? Get professional results
in your home with this innovative machine that uses power brushes to
eliminate dirt and has a tough stain tool that makes cleaning
hard-to-reach areas, like stairs, a cinch. The professional deep
cleaning formula is amazing! Other cool features include:
Cleans in both forward and backward passes for a faster clean
Rotating PowerBrush gets deep down in carpet to eliminate stains & capture dirt
Large capacity tanks are easy to fill, empty & clean
Tough Stain Tool is great for stairs & upholstery
Flow indicator monitors water & solution level
Built-in measuring cup on clean tank
Long reach house gets in tough corners, upholstery, stairs and tops of shelves and cupboards

community-based food and art celebration on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 11 a.m.
- 3 p.m. at Wheat Street Garden, 75 Hilliard Street, NE, Atlanta, GA 30312.
Bowls for Change is a one-day event to raise funds in support
of Wholesome Wave of Georgia and NLC -Atlanta. TLW’s
partnership with Wholesome Wave allows every SNAP, WIC, or SFNMP dollar spent
at its farmers market to double its value when purchasing healthy locally grown

food insecurity in underserved communities.
"As the founding City
Council sponsor of Truly Living Well's Wheat Street Urban Farm and the New
Leaders Council, I am delighted to see these two groups partnering with
WonderRoot to increase Atlantans' awareness about food deserts and food
insecurity. District 2's Boulevard corridor, the host neighborhood for this
event, has the highest concentration of poverty in the southeastern United
States. I am hopeful that Crafting Bowls
for Change will help us place a glaring spotlight on the reality of poverty
and hunger in the neighborhood that raised Martin Luther King Jr.", stated
New Leaders Council Honorary Chair and City Councilmember Kwanzaa Hall.
Community leaders and
members are invited to share a simple and delicious meal of soup served in a
handcrafted bowl at Wheat Street Gardens on Saturday, May 25th. In exchange for
a cash contribution, guests receive a bowl as a reminder of those struggling
with food insecurity in our city, nation and world. Wholesome Wave, SNAP and
food security information will be available at the event. Participants are
